That’s not our first Minecraft map, which provides an artificial island with an attractive atmosphere, volcanoes, a large list of improvements, secret locations, and other new features.

The author’s main idea is to create a small island surrounded by water and having a volcano in its center. Getting to this island is not quite easy. But if the player is lucky enough to visit this place, he will have to fight a large number of zombies inhabiting the location. By default, the map (saving) gives only visual graphics and design. Any activity is possible after installing a separate datapack applied to this map, which we will talk about further.

Along with this map, the author recommends installing a corresponding datapack (Survival on Zombie Island), which will allow you to «revive the map». Otherwise, it will just be a location without mobs and other activity.

If you finally decide to install the map (datapack), you should know that it even has its own backstory. The plane crashes on the island, so the player spawns on the ground and must survive using a certain set of items and tools he finds nearby, as well as those resources that he will find later in different parts of the island. In general, the idea can be compared with the popular TV series «Lost». However, there were no zombies but certain types of «unidentified».

But that’s not the whole story… You are all alone here. To survive, you will have to spend every night fighting with zombies crawling out from different parts of the island. They can spawn from both the coast and the volcano. Thus, you will need to choose a place where they won’t reach you (for a start, you can just dig somewhere underground to escape from a large number of mobs).

As soon as the night turns into day, you can proceed to explore the island, collect different types of items and blocks, get food, replenish your health, and set up different types of traps. However, this map has one more feature: in fact, zombiescan break any blocks, and if these evil creatures «discover» or «feel» something, they will simply break all the blocks to get to the player.

This map even has certain types of plants and seeds, so you can easily plant new types of vegetables to grow them and get different types of food. This process is vital for any player. If you cannot do farming – you can make a fishing rod and catch some fish, and maybe even get additional items.

In total, this map includes 4 different types of zombies, each of which has its own unique appearance, as well as certain skills and behavior:

· Regular Zombie;

· TNT Zombie;

• Mountain Zombie;

· Giant Zombie.

Each type of mob has certain health levels and skills, but in fact, they are very similar to each other.

How to Survive?

To survive on this island, you first need to make armor. To do that, you will have to «collect resources», for example, in a mine. Not far from the spawn point, there is a small mine with several carts. They will contain a pickaxe and some coal, which will give you a good «start» for further survival.

Attention! If you have enough resources, you can continue to build railroad tracks inside the mine to quickly move between locations, as well as run away from zombies if there are a lot of them at one point.

Well, then you need to develop and try to survive on the island, using all the new features you can get: you can mine diamonds, create a diamond type of armor and tools, as well as make a portal to the Nether to find netherite and create an even better type of armor. You can even build a large house using obsidian. Fortunately, the local volcano and a large amount of lava allow you to do that.

Additional Locations

There are several different locations on the coast around the island. They include a pier, a small observation tower, and other types of buildings. Some of them are just «decorations», while others may contain valuable and important resources, such as bows and arrows, various types of potions, armor, and many other items. If you explore the island around, you will quickly be able to find various items to fight zombies. And remember that they will get you everywhere, so you need to keep «moving».

On the one hand, it is a rather simple map, on which there is one volcano, several different types of blocks, and a mine. On the other hand, the Survival on Zombie Island datapack expands the possibilities of the location and adds your gameplay to Minecraft. Thus, you have to keep moving, as well as look for certain items, study, and craft something.

You can use this map both alone and with friends. It’s up to you to decide how to survive, what to do, and in what order to collect different types of resources. Such maps have always been popular, including on many servers. If you have your own Minecraft server, you can use this island to attract players and increase activity.
