Review Realm of Midgard

Realm of Midgard is an interesting map to play both in singleplayer mode and on a server. It features a vast medieval world with many structures of that time. You will see various villages, castles, ruins, and large cities, as well as many other interesting things. For more comfortable playing on this map, it is recommended to install the appropriate medieval-themed textures and shader packs, such as Conquest. The designer has done a good job on this map, so you will not get bored playing on it. You can walk around the game world and explore new territories, finding some structures in the process. Everything is basically not that far from each other, so you will not have to look for new buildings for days.

Initial Spawn Point

You will initially spawn in a small village of four tiny but very cozy houses. You will see a huge tree in the middle, which can serve as a reference point, given that the village is located in the lowlands. The houses themselves are made of clay, which emphasizes their medieval character. Their interiors are very scarce, and you will not find many things there, but everything is still atmospheric.

There is a beautiful waterfall on the edge of the village, where you can easily swim, as the designer has beautifully arranged its bottom. The village itself is not particularly rich in terms of agriculture and has only one pigpen.

However, the village is not as small as it seems at first glance. The fact is that you can notice four small structures in the mountains, which also serve as houses. You will easily notice their entrances, as they are beautifully decorated with fences, flowers, and other prominent objects. These caves have just one room each, but they are very spacious and, most importantly, cozy. All of them differ from each other but basically constitute a single house with a bedroom, living room, kitchen, and study.

Near the village, you will see a desert with a very long road leading to other settlements. After walking along it, you will eventually notice a bridge from which you can see a huge tower. Approaching it, you will realize that it is a watch tower. Climbing to its very top, on one side, you can observe vast fields of various crops and a building amidst them.

On the other side of the river, you can notice various structures that form a village. There is a watermill on the river bank with a smithery nearby. You will see another tower near the latter. Climbing on it, you can notice individual structures with adjacent vegetable gardens. You can also see a windmill and ordinary rural houses.

But in fact, all this is just secondary things. The most important location on this map is situated nearby. Looking ahead, you will see a huge medieval city. It is enclosed in large walls that you cannot climb. But if you still decide to do that, you need to be careful, as there are huge canyons near the walls that save the city's inhabitants. The main entrance is on the other side and is not so difficult to find.

There are a lot of structures inside this city. You can notice both residential buildings and other various territories there. You will see various arenas, markets, and much more. So you will not get bored in this city, as it will take a lot of time to visit all the territories, so numerous they are.

But that's not all. Besides the buildings, you can notice other interesting things. Thus, somewhere in the city, there is a huge statue visible even at the entrance. However, it is not so easy to find it if you play in survival mode, as it is located deep inside. You will also see a beautiful clock tower nearby.

In the center of the city, there is perhaps the most important local structure, as it clearly differs from all others in terms of style. Indeed, it is very light and tall. Its interiors are also very rich. You will see a white statue nearby.

Another territory of this city is also highly noteworthy. It is surrounded by a jungle of a round shape. Amidst this vegetation, there is a small but very tall tower. Its style is very different from other structures, as it is very dark. Inside the tower, it is quite cozy and interesting. Its interior is also uncommon because of the material from which the tower is made.
