City Tennoto

It is a large-scale environment map in Asian style containing a full-fledged city. It is indeed huge and features more than 100 buildings. The city itself is divided into several districts, and the detail level is amazing. Unfortunately, the map is unfinished, and the designer has no plans to expand this world, but what is already done is enough for long hours of thorough exploration and admiration.

The city is divided into several parts. Like any real-life city, it has a downtown with various offices, administrative buildings, libraries, and universities. This part is located behind high walls, apparently meant to protect the residents from enemies. Other districts are adjacent to it. These are a shopping area filled with stores, a large industrial area with tower cranes, factories, and residential buildings for the poor, and a fishing area with a hint of a planned fleet.

The buildings are designed not just meticulously but truly masterfully. The various cranes and cobwebs coming out of the chimneys and imitating smoke are particularly amazing. Given that this map does not utilize new blocks and the designer uses exclusively the vanilla game content, the detail level is simply admirable.

While the exterior design of the local structures is fantastic, the interiors, as in many similar maps, have to be decorated by those who decide to use this map for their needs. There is virtually nothing inside except for a couple of random blocks meant to indicate the purpose of a particular premise.

The map is suitable for filming Asian-style videos, group survival on a server, or trying one's hand in the design of cubic interiors. The single-player survival in the empty city can be somewhat boring or even creepy. But if you are not afraid of loneliness in an empty city, you can try, as the designer has not precluded the possibility of full-fledged survival.
