Sildurs TFC setup – Changed config for Sildurs Shader

Each of them has numerous features and offers different configuration options, where each user can choose the desired effects and the optimal set of parameters, disable any unnecessary options in a few clicks, and much more. However, there is an author who has created a separate configuration file for Sildur’s shaders by changing certain parameters. His add-on includes only one block.properties file, which sets different configurations for water effects. That is what we are going to discuss in this short review. The add-on is called Sildurs TFC setup, but we would like to repeat once again: that’s not a shader but only a configuration file for Sildurs packs. What’s peculiar about this add-on is that it only corrects water textures, so don’t expect any other changes.

What Sildurs TFC setup changes

The main purpose of this file is to slightly change the water texture when Sildurs shaders are on. The fact is that the author did not like the developer’s approach, and he decided to make certain changes.

Important ! You can use the configuration file for any shader version, for example, for Vibrant or Basic. The principle of operation is approximately the same – the config corrects the water texture. However, we recommend using Vibrant since it is here that the author of the original shader uses a large number of effects to change the water and all the water biomes of Minecraft.

How to install a new configuration file

To properly install the configuration file, repeat the steps from the step-by-step instructions. The procedure is as follows:

· Go to the /shaderpacks folder on your PC and move the Sildurs shader file to this folder;

• Download Sildurs TFC setup and open it. It will contain a block.properties file, which we are going to move;

· Open the shader zip file from Sildurs and go to shaders;

· Replace the original version with the block.properties file from the Sildurs TFC setup and try to launch Minecraft with the new parameters on.

As you can see, the installation is not difficult. You only need to add block.properties so that the original shader uses slightly different settings.

From now on, the water texture will change both in terms of its appearance and behavior, for example, the water looks quite realistic when it rains heavily, the wind makes waves, and the sun is reflected on the surface of the water. It is a great option for those who had to constantly change settings and select the configuration in the original Sildur’s Vibrant Shaders or any other. Now you can take a ready-made config to change the water texture in Minecraft. Of course, it’s not the most important parameter, but it is also useful.

Important! The largest number of water effects is used in Sildur’s Vibrant Shaders since it is one of the developer’s most global versions. It requires the most resources from your computer, it can lower FPS on weak PCs, but it tweaks the graphics to 100%, completely changing your idea of Minecraft. And if you want to further change the water textures, the Sildurs TFC setup configuration file is better to use for this shader, where the difference will be visible.

Be sure to pay attention to the shaders from this developer since there are several versions, each of which has a large number of different options. You can use them to change the graphics of Minecraft, create colorful screenshots, shoot cool videos for YouTube, or create trailers for some projects. This area can even bring you additional income if, for example, you can use these shaders to create certain types of trailers for servers. This process can be extremely effective and interesting, especially if you are a creative person.
