Most of the texture packs developed for Minecraft change many items and blocks; some can even completely change how animals, potions, and books look. However, some of the authors of such upgrades completely forget about the GUI interface, which is a big problem for the game design. We’d like to tell you about The Wilder Forest Custom GUI Pack, which changes the GUI interface in Minecraft, that is, the visual part of the game only and doesn’t affect the appearance of items or blocks. The author has focused primarily on design.

The developer’s main idea – is to add the «wildlife»-type design to the game, with the entire interface getting about the same style. He changed the panel of interaction with many items, such as the anvil, large and small chests, shulker, cartographer’s table, and other HUD options, where they occur in the game. It looks attractive, showy, and unusual, but it’s far from the full-fledged game textures, which you should keep in mind.

To give you a general idea of what you’ll get after installing this pack, we’ve taken a close look at its visual style, even though there aren’t many changes here. Let’s repeat:it’s only the interface that changes: HUD, GUI, and a panel with boxes.

Everything features a unified design in orange with wooden insets. It looks like a big board with highlighted boxes lying in front of you. Have you ever played real backgammon using a wooden game set? Here, you’ll have something similar: your GUI and HUD will now get a unified “wooden” style in shades of orange.

The main feature of the texture pack is – is an interesting picture of a tree that will appear in almost all interfaces. We’ve taken a few screenshots of what it would look like when interacting with the chest, the distributor, the anvil, the enchantment table, and other Minecraft items. The tree looks gorgeous and unusual, but sometimes, it just interferes with the view a little. The picture is semi-transparent, so don’t worry that the entire screen will be covered by this tree.

If you take a more global look at the Wilder Forest Custom GUI Pack texture pack, you can recommend it as an addition to some other packs. For example, it will perfectly match Faithful that makes all blocks and items clear if compared to the vanilla version of Minecraft. That gives you two advantages at once:

• Faithful – completely changes the whole set of items, blocks, and other game elements;
• TheWilderForestCustomGUIPack – changes your GUI and HUD when interacting with different blocks. And it looks really cool, especially for the vanilla Minecraft version.
