A huge number of skins for every taste have been created for Minecraft players, including those taken from a certain movie, cartoon, universe, epoch, and from thousands of other settings. However, in the vanilla game version, you have to walk in the same armor even after installing a unique skin. So if you do not want to completely change all the textures but find the appearance of the armor sets not quite satisfactory, you can download a texture pack called Neko's Enhanced Tools and Armor that slightly improves all the types of armor, tools, and weapons.
It allows each user to change the standard armor sets and some items in a couple of clicks, leaving their vanilla style intact. So they continue to look like the original ones but are still significantly modified. So it is time to see how the in-game armor will change and what to expect from the Neko's Enhanced Tools and Armor texture pack. We have tried to add as many screenshots with different equipment as possible so that you can visually evaluate it.
This pack mainly affects three categories of the in-game items, which are the most significant and frequently used on any server or in singleplayer mode:
1. Armor;
2. Tools;
3. Weapons.
The changes affect all the types of materials: diamond, iron, gold, netherite, wood, stone, and leather. So your character will be substantially transformed if you install Neko's Enhanced Tools and Armor texture pack, but first things first…
Almost all the updated armor pieces are similar to the vanilla ones, but there are still certain changes that immediately suggest that we have a completely different version of the textures. The developer of the texture pack has changed the appearance of leather, chainmail, iron, diamond, and gold armor. Some armor types have acquired more shades or gradients, as in the case of the iron or leather ones. While earlier their texture was plain, in this version, you will see gradients with iridescent colors, which looks very quality and unusual.
The diamond armor has become a bit lighter and acquired more different elements. Its texture is now not of a solid color, as it was in the standard Minecraft, but can boast unique transitions and gradients, as all other armor added by Neko's Enhanced Tools and Armor texture pack. This pack will primarily suit those users who would like to change something in the game but are not ready to dramatically change the graphics or significantly transform the appearance of all the in-game objects and elements.
The gold and leather armor have acquired additional elements. When it comes to the latter, these are inclusions that almost completely cover it. In turn, the ordinary helmet of the gold set has been replaced by a crown, which fits perfectly with the overall concept of this texture pack. It looks cool and attracts attention. Many players usually avoid using the gold set, as it is not effective in combat, is destroyed quickly, and is not in demand for sale on servers. But now we should expect an increase in interest in this material, at least because the set has become unique and differs from all other options.
The chainmail armor also looks beautiful. While previously it was light, now its shade has changed to dark. Besides, the entire set is covered with square textures, as if the character wears some unique material similar to carbon. It looks stylish and suitable for very diverse settings, including space exploration and medieval battles. In general, it is quite fun, so be sure to try it. We have made screenshots with all the sets of Minecraft armor so that you can evaluate them. We are looking forward to your comments and feedback on this texture pack.
Minecraft cannot boast many different weapon types. Basically, these are swords, bows, and crossbows, but players often use only swords, both against mobs and other users on servers. The designer of this texture pack has put a lot of effort into making beautiful versions of the weapons that would be as faithful to the vanilla style as possible. Its salient feature is the different sizes of the swords. Thus, the wooden one is the smallest here, and the netherite one is the largest. So the better the material of the sword, the larger the latter is. It is quite an interesting and unusual approach.
Besides, each sword, be it diamond or wooden, is highlighted and has a nice gradient. Nothing extraordinary has been added, though, so if you want something radically new, it is better to look for other texture packs. It just adds a nice and neat appearance, which is perfect for most users who play Minecraft regularly. The Neko's Enhanced Tools and Armor texture pack can be used both on a server and in singleplayer mode. Another advantage thereof is the compatibility with other packs, including those changing the appearance of mobs, building blocks, and the GUI.
Among the above three categories of content, the tools are used most often, as players have to constantly chop down trees, extract resources, and dig up beds. Different types of material are used for that, whether it is iron, diamonds, or netherite. Rich players gradually acquire netherite tools, while novices most often get along with the iron ones. The Neko's Enhanced Tools and Armor texture pack changes the appearance of all the elements in this category, and they now look quite neat.
The iron pickaxe and other iron tools have basically remained the same as they looked in the vanilla game version, but their textures have become brighter. When it comes to the gold or diamond tools, their updated appearance and all the changes are immediately noticeable. They include smooth gradients, beautiful transitions, and refined wooden handles. They look amazing compared to the vanilla style. Indeed, there are enough various texture packs for Minecraft that feature true masterpieces, both in high and low quality.
We recommend that you install some shader pack in addition to this mod if the specs of your PC allow you to run such add-ons and improve graphics without any problems. Then the visual picture will be transformed, and the textures, together with shaders, will give the game a fresh coat of paint. The Neko's Enhanced Tools and Armor texture pack can work correctly with other packs, including those updating blocks, animals, or the GUI. We systematically upload various add-ons changing the appearance of wolves, ocelots, the interface, and many other separate attributes and elements of the game.
Summing it up, we can say that this pack copes with its task perfectly, and the designer has created an interesting and truly vanilla-style design option that can be launched on almost any game version. It can boast elaborate details, interesting gradients, and unique shapes for some armor pieces and weapons. You can consider using these textures on a constant basis both on a server and in singleplayer mode.
