Better Zombies – New Types of Zombies

Zombies are one of the most common hostile mobs in Minecraft. They spawn mainly in dark rooms and locations. And when night falls, the whole world is crowded with these creatures eager to kill you. However, the standard zombie may look boring, especially if you are playing with a vanilla texture pack or some kind of Faithful.

If you are one of those players who want to change the visual design of zombies, we invite you to download the Better Zombies texture pack, which adds a huge number of different zombies. These are not just one or two mobs, but 125 zombies, each of which spawns in a certain biome. It is one of the largest packs for adding new types of zombies. The author has upgraded all the details, added a lot of various zombie mobs, and evenly distributed the probability of their spawning across different biomes to make it more interesting for you to play and survive in the world of Minecraft.

Better Zombies Overview

The appearance of these mobs depends on the biome you are currently visiting. For example, some categories of zombies spawn in the dark forest, while others belong to the jungle. As for the snow biome, it has completely different types of mobs, of which there are several dozen categories in total.

The appearance of these creatures is radically different from the zombies present in standard Minecraft. For example, these mobs can wear different clothes, which will always look worn and partially torn. Some individuals appear in the form of pillagers. However, the pillager is slightly modified. This skeleton-type zombie has a different face and clothing. Nevertheless, these mobs look like pillagers with bows and arrows (although they have the same features as regular zombies).

And that’s just a small list of mobs available to you in the Better Zombies texture pack. The author has added 125 different types of zombies. Each zombie is unique and has a certain appearance, textures, and distinctive features compared to other zombies. This diversity makes surviving in Minecraft much more exciting.

Moreover, these mobs spawn in certain biomes according to their categories provided by the developer. Thus, if there are 14 different types of jungle zombies, they will appear only in the jungle. If you decide to use a spawn egg to spawn zombies, you won’t be able to get any type you want. You will have to go to a biome where they appear according to the developer’s idea. That’s the only place where you can use the egg.

In the snow biome, all zombies are wearing masks except for the zombie pillager. They look interesting and quite unusual. At first, you don’t even understand what mob it is and why it appears among the blocks of snow. These mobs differ in color and clothing (the zombie is most likely wearing a fur coat or something similar). The screenshots below provide information about what types of mobs you will meet if you find yourself in a snow or ice biome. They list all the options available for these locations.

Whatever zombie you meet along the way, they behave similarly and follow the standard vanilla Minecraft patterns. They drop the same loot and deal the standard damage, so there are no differences in this regard. The pack only upgrades visual designs, providing more than a hundred different options. Feel free to install this texture pack if you want to add more zombies to your game world. Since this pack only changes skins for this category of mobs, it can go well with other texture packs.
