In Minecraft, villagers play a huge role in developing the character and any game world, as they can sell you a lot of useful items and blocks, which you’ll find useful in the future. However, trading with each of the NPCs is a true challenge for players, since you have to randomly «knock out» every item from them, and there’s no guarantee that you can get it from this very civilian. For example, you want a book with the «Effectiveness 5» or «Protection 4» enchantments. To find a resident selling such a book, you need to conclude trading operations with about 10-30 NPCs.

Now, you won’t have to waste time searching for such a resident, since you can perform the entire process with a single NPC, by simply adding the Trade Cycling mod to your build. The player can cycle through the items with one key. With this system you can easily find the required product, regardless of the villager’s profession, the list of the items he offers, or the random generation in Minecraft. This is be far more convenient and faster, but it can greatly affect the server’s economy, since any player will now be able to get the items or resources they need.

Do you remember how you had to trade with villagers in the vanilla version? It’s very time- and effort-consuming. You have to approach every NPC, start trading from the first level to unlock subsequent ones. By default, all items are sold with a large margin, so you had to spend a lot of emeralds and at the same time, sell other types of goods to villagers to make up for the cost in emeralds. And even if a player reached the end of the trading list, there was no guarantee that certain items would be available. For example, searching for a book with a certain enchantment could take long hours, whole chests of valuable materials to exchange, dozens of residents and a place to keep them.

Installing the Trade Cycling add-on, a completely different mechanic will be added, so that you can change the list of items by just clicking a corresponding tab. You won’t have to wait for him to unlock certain items or look for a certain NPC selling the goods you need. Just click the button and change the products in one click. It’s fast, convenient, and free. Consequently, you save your emeralds and can only interact with few NPCs to compensate for your time.

To start trading or exchanging, you need to approach any NPC and click on him to activate the process. Here, you’ll see a specific list of items, and it’s up to you to use these options or click the button next to it to update the product range. Thus, any player will be able to keep changing different types of goods in Minecraft and get the most out of using Trade Cycling. It works with almost all professions, whether it’s a tanner, a farmer, an enchanter, or any other NPC.

For a convenient sorting system, you can click on the icons and quickly change the order of items and goods, which makes this mod even more interesting. The developer also added a hotkey (C by default), which allows you to change the list in the GUI interface. In general, this is all the functions added by this mod, and today it’s one of the most important tools for interacting with villagers.

Now, any player will be able to quickly exchange goods on the server or in single-player mode, without spending much time on searching for the necessary resource. At the same time, it maintains the mechanics of vanilla Minecraft if you need to cure a resident several times to get a discount. For those who don’t know, you need to infect NPCs 2-4 times by letting zombies get to them, and then cure them with special potions. As a result, they will give you goods almost for free, which is a significant benefit for the player, even if you have to spend a lot of time on the process.
