TofuCraftReload

It is a mod that brings a tofu dimension filled with tofu and created from tofu. So if you are a fan of tofu, this mod will appeal to you. The mod is mainly about food, so there is just an incredibly large amount of it here, but everything, of course, is from tofu and its derivatives. Moreover, you will be able to build a house, craft weapons and tools, create armor, and even make some household items from tofu.

Note! For more comfortable playing, it is recommended to install JEI and Patchouli.

Soy and Other Plants

By breaking blocks of grass, nether grass, and shrubs, you will be able to get soybeans and chili seeds.

From the soybeans, you will be able to craft tofu: lots of tofu — a lot of diverse tofu.

Cooking Tofu

To cook tofu, you will need soy milk and the bittern.

To create the soy milk, just combine soybeans and an empty bucket in the crafting table.

In turn, the process of creating the bittern is quite complicated. To begin with, you will need to craft a special salt furnace.

Put it on the ground and place the ordinary vanilla cauldron filled with water on it.

Then, go to the menu, put the coal inside, and pour water into the furnace to fill the water scale. To do this, click on the furnace with a water bucket. This way, you will get pure salt or bittern. To collect the latter, you will need empty bottles or a bucket.

After both ingredients are in your inventory, make a hole in the ground according to the "one bucket of soy milk per block" principle, pour soy milk into the hole, and pour a bottle of bittern on the block. The soy milk block will harden. Then, break this block with your hand and get some ready-made tofu.

You can continue to cook new dishes or go to the tofu dimension.

Tofu Dimension

To move to the new dimension, you will need a portal. It does not generate naturally and so must be built. To do this, you will need to cook raw tofu on a campfire, in a furnace, or in a smoker to get grilled tofu and then craft 24+9 blocks of grilled tofu. Four tofus make one block.

Then, arrange them to ensure an empty 3x3 block space inside, as shown in the screenshot, and fill it with soy milk.

But do not rush to rejoice. You will now have to kill mobs to get a special staff that activates the portal. It is dropped extremely rarely and most often from slimes. Unfortunately, that is the only way to get it in survival mode, as it is uncraftable.

Once you get the staff, run to the almost ready portal and click right on the milk. The portal is activated, and you can go on a journey.

The dimension itself is quite interesting and eye-pleasing. The land there consists of tofu and its derivatives, the rivers are made of soy milk, and local animals drop soy meat after death.

It is inhabited by both animals and locals. The latter look like the characters of your favorite anime, communicate with interesting squeaks, and offer you goods like the vanilla villagers.

However, the new dimension is filled not only with peaceful mobs, as there are also hostile creatures there. They are mainly tofu slimes, which spawn extremely rare due to the sufficiently high illumination there. But at night, you should be careful, as creepers, spiders, and zombies will readily hunt you in this edible world.

However, the underground is quite a safe place — it is mostly quiet and peaceful inside the caves among the tofu stones. Sometimes, you will find tofu ores, which can also be mined and used in various recipes.

Blocks

As we have already noted, the tofu dimension consists entirely of tofu blocks. Does this mean that all the blocks are edible? Not really. Such blocks as tofu dirt and tofu stone cannot be eaten. They are virtually the vanilla blocks with modified textures, and you can craft the already familiar things from them.

Tofu iron blocks drop tofu iron, whereas tofu diamonds can be got from tofu diamond blocks.

Weapons, Armor, and Tools

You will be able to craft the vanilla swords and tools from different types of tofu. There is no point in wasting time on tools made from ordinary tofu, though, as they will be worse than the wooden ones and require much soy milk, which you will have to extract. However, the weapons and tools made of tofu iron and tofu diamonds are quite decent and comparable to their vanilla counterparts.

The same applies to the armor. Even so, all the armor types added by the mod are extremely weak, and the most advanced one, from the new diamonds, is practically worse than the vanilla iron armor.

The truly interesting items the mod brings are the fukumames. These are odd cubes made of soybeans that can hit mobs over long distances. They inflict not that significant damage of six health points per hit but are still nicer than the practically worthless tofu sword.
