New Biome

The «Salt Flats» will be added to the game. It is a desert-type biome, which can usually be found in the remains of an ancient ocean. Here, you’ll find a lot of interesting dungeons: ocean ruins, ruins, and will be able to see new mobs also added by the mod. Emperor Catfish – a beautiful fish that has 6 health points. Neutral to players and mobs, but can be used not only as food, but also to craft unique fishing rods after you kill it. They are crafted from catfish whiskers and impose the «Luck» for a certain time, so this item can bring you more loot. If you use it only for cooking, you can quickly restore health by eating its hearty meat.

Trilobite Beetle – a beautiful beetle in the game that features high endurance parameters. You can ride it, but you can find this mob in the jungle only, and it’s difficult to find among extremely dense forests and foliage. You can ride the beetle without a saddle, although the trilobite moves extremely slowly. It has 30 health points but can’t offer anything interesting as a drop.

Aberrant Krills – a non-standard name for a Minecraft mob, so you’ll definitely remember it. These creatures live in water, appeared due to the mutation process and wander in search of dolphins. Unfortunately, the aberrant krill hunts dolphins and kills them, although this makes a rather interesting performance. If you kill this mob, you can get a carcass for cooking meat or crafting plates from scales.

All the mobs added by the Pinky’s Misc Biomes and Mobs mod look decent and colorful. Each of them is characterized by its own color, contrast, and certain behavior, but the mod doesn’t make any significant changes to the game world. At least, you should download it to ride beetles and craft a new sword. From time to time, the developer releases new versions and updates the functions, although the mod is relatively new and isn’t yet popular among players.

Collect crabs, breed them, look for salt biomes to get as many pincers as possible. You’ll be able to use them to craft swords, and if you find an aberrant krill, you’ll be able to make records and sell them to players on the server. The fans of such items will surely be interested in the artifacts and will try to buy them from you, although the Pinky’s Misc Biomes and Mobs mod is more than suitable for a single player mode or LAN with friends.

If you want to appreciate the mobs’ appearance and behavior, you won’t have to look for them in a specific biome. After installing the mod via JEI, you can use the summoning eggs and spawn any mob. Salt (a new ingredient in the game), a salt block, and other artifacts will also be available here. The only drawback of this add-on is that you’ll still have to search for the salt biome in a manual mode, since the developer hasn’t added any commands for quick search and teleport.
