New Vanilla Items

It is a mod entirely focused on the expansion of the vanilla crafting recipes. Thanks to it, emeralds and obsidian will get a new life in armor, weapons, and even food, new blocks of the vanilla bamboo, snow, and ice will be added, and new recipes from such familiar ingredients as rotten flesh and bread will appear.

Food

The mod expands the range of the vanilla dishes, making cooking in Minecraft slightly more diverse.

The character's menu will feature such foodstuffs as emerald carrots and potatoes with quite a high saturation level, which is two points higher than that of the vanilla golden carrot, and golden potatoes that replenish six hunger and three saturation points.

If you wish, you can now make the rotten flesh edible by simply frying it in the furnace. It replenishes only four hunger points, but in the absence of alternatives, your character will certainly not remain hungry and not suffer the Poison effect.

In turn, bread cooked in the furnace or campfire becomes fried bread and fills as much as eight hunger and 4.5 saturation points.

Sugar, melted in the furnace, becomes caramel, which can be eaten as a separate dish, although it replenishes only 1.5 hunger points. It will be more useful for making caramelized apples that already fill six hunger points.

Weapons

You will now be able to craft a new sword from emeralds according to the standard recipe, which is similar to the one of the diamond sword. The emerald sword inflicts 7.5 damage and is an in-between option between the diamond and netherite ones. Another sword can be crafted from the obsidian according to the standard recipe. It has six damage points but is way more durable than all other weapons.

Besides, you will be able to craft a complete set of tools from emeralds and obsidian.

Daggers are a whole new weapon type added by the mod. They cannot boast a particularly high damage level: the wooden dagger inflicts two damage, while the most powerful netherite dagger has only six damage points. However, all the daggers have 2.2 attack speed, which is incredibly fast, and cheap ingredients.

You will also be able to craft hammers from all the in-game materials. They have quite a high damage level, which is five in the case of the wooden hammer and eight in the case of the netherite one, but that is balanced by a reduced attack speed. Besides, they are quite expensive since they require six blocks of the basic material.

Blocks

Since the mod was created for the game versions older than 1.19.4, the designer considered it necessary to add new bamboo blocks. You can see them in the official updates, but if you do not want to install them, just download this add-on, and all the vanilla bamboo planks, hatches, steps, and fences will appear in the game.

The range of ice blocks has also been slightly expanded. In fact, the mod adds only two of them — snow and ice bricks — but they will fit quite nicely with the winter biome structures, say, the igloo.

From any concrete and redstone, you will be able to craft a new functional item — the corner lamp. If you would like to highlight something as in a showcase, want to add more light to a mine, or are just bored of banging your head against ceiling lights, this lamp will certainly appeal to you.

Armor

You will also be able to craft two armor sets from obsidian and emeralds. The obsidian armor will be similar to the vanilla iron one but have very high durability, which makes it practically indestructible. As for the emerald armor, it is comparable with the one in terms of defense points but is slightly worse in terms of durability. Besides, you can earn the special Armor From Currency achievement related to the emerald armor.

Besides, if you wish, you will be able to craft a full-fledged copper helmet from copper ingots. However, it has only one defense point, so it is more of a decorative item. Even so, it makes copper at least slightly more useful.

Misc

The mod adds a new emerald-related item — the emerald slice. It is very easy to get it: one emerald can be turned into nine slices in the crafting table. Besides, when breaking glass, you will get glass shards, but you will not be able to do anything with them, as they are just decorative garbage. Also, you will be able to find three new discs with good music in dungeons.
