Review Heavy Inventory

Heavy Inventory – Inventory Weight

How do you like the standard survival style in Minecraft? We look for different types of blocks, dig in mines, construct buildings, and fight mobs. And if there are big stakes on the server, or we have an opportunity to craft Shulkers, then we can carry more resources. This is interesting only at the very beginning of your game path, but eventually becomes boring. If you are one of advanced players, you may probably be interested in the Heavy Inventory mod that introduces weight restrictions into the game. Now, your Minecraft character will have certain weight criteria, and you’ll have to train if you want to increase them.

According to the Heavy Inventory mod developer, he tried to create an add-on that would make inventory management and transfer of different types of blocks a bit more complicated in the game. You’ll have to monitor the indicators all the time, take special training dumbbells from time to time and increase your physical performance by training your muscle mass. But there are certain limitations here as well, which we’ll also tell you about in a detailed review of the mod.

The Heavy Inventory Mod Review

As soon as you install the Heavy Inventory mod to the game of Minecraft, you’ll see a separate tab on the screen showing how many kgs the character currently has in the inventory. The system displays the information as a percentage, so you won’t clearly understand what weight you exactly have at the moment. But it can be roughly assumed that the block stack takes 3% of the total weight at the initial stage, when you haven’t upgraded your profile. Using this unique system, you’ll be able to transfer a certain number of blocks and items in the cubic world, but each player will now be motivated to upgrade their profile to increase this limit.

You are given a certain number of training sessions per day , and you can use them to increase your physical strength level. As you understand, it will start from zero by default, which you can see in the LV tab in the inventory. You can do up to 1 training session per day, and the more often the players pump their physical strength, the faster they’ll be able to level up and carry more weight in Minecraft. If you fail to practice for 2 days, you’ll lose muscle mass and, respectively, you’ll upgrade slower, and your level may fall. This system keeps the players «in good shape» all the time…

Besides, protein is added</ strong> to the game, which allows you to take more training sessions per day, and if you regularly take it in Minecraft, you’ll be able to upgrade faster and increase the weight carried in the game. The mod developer also added a separate system that allows you to configure, move, or hide the HUD interface inventory added by the Heavy Inventory mod. To do this, just go to the configuration and control keys settings and change the corresponding parameters. However, another mod feature is the management of commands, which are quite a few here.

Shortcut commands:

· /heavy_inventory_active_training – Disabling or enabling the dumbbell training system. If you use this command, the basic parameters will be set to zero

· /heavy_inventory_max_stack 2304 – Selection of default parameters for the maximum weight that the player can carry in Minecraft

· /heavy_inventory_stack_to_improve – The number of reps required to lift the dumbbell and get the next level-up. By default, this parameter sets 10 reps, but you can change it if you want

· /heavy_inventory_set_pattern_position – Setting the current position for players on the server.

You can use these commands to change the standard parameters. Just change the values and see what will happen on the HUD interface screen. You can do it both in a single player mode and on any Minecraft server, if you installed the mod for a multiplayer game. It’s actually often included in small assemblies of mod packs, when it’s necessary to complicate the survival process or just add a few new options.

As you can see, the mod is small, but significantly changes the game mechanics and gameplay. Now you’ll have to keep monitoring the number of blocks and resources, upgrade the character’s physical parameters and somehow diversify the standard gameplay in the cubic world. This add-on can be perfectly combined with other mods, for example, the ones that change health parameters, add heat and frost factors, as well as other small add-ons that make the Minecraft survival more real and more hardcore, sometimes. Try it, leave your feedback about this add-on, and tell us what other reviews of similar mods you’d like to see.
