Cave Enhancements

A mod that further adds content to vanilla deep caves. Now, when exploring dungeons and mines, you’ll encounter new mobs, new traps, and new blocks.

Blocks

A few new blocks will be introduced to the game. Primarily, it’s rose quartz, which you can mine both as a block and a crystal. Besides, to get new building blocks, you can additionally process the blocks on a workbench or a stone cutter. Second, you’ll be able to get slime blocks from the new mob, which prevent enemies from approaching your base similar to spider web blocks dropped by vanilla spiders. You’ll also get a new method for processing Deepslate blocks in a column shape.

Mechanisms

Several new mechanisms will be added to the game. You’ll be able to use slime to make a special slowing trap, which works like a spider web, but is extremely durable. You can use copper to make a special anchor that pushes all players away when activated.

Rose quartz can be used to craft a lantern and a soul lantern, which differ in color and can be placed both on the ground, on the walls, and on the floor.

You can also use rose quartz to craft a new decorative block – music of the wind.

Mobs

Three new mobs will also appear in the caves: the Leaky Turtle, the Slime, and the Crunch. These mobs are so cute that they don’t attack the player even after a random hit. Indeed, the Slime is static – it remains in one place, generating slime. And the rest keep wandering around the caves, creating a special atmosphere. Killing them is pointless, as none of the three creatures gives any drop.
