Camera Mod – a new camera in Minecraft

How do you take screenshots in the game? Usually, you press F2, and it is saved in the folder with your game version. You can also use standard Windows tools, but in this case the image is sent to a separate directory. And if the player has made a good shot, sometimes you want to hang such images somewhere or share an entire photo gallery with your friends, for example, on a server. However, the standard game function is limited, and here you have to look for third-party mods. The Camera Mod add-on will solve this problem, since it offers to create screenshots of any size with a zoom. At the same time, the player will be able to put them into special frames also added by this mod.

The Camera Mod adds a camera and a separate kind of frames to Minecraft, so that you can insert all the captured images there. It’s a completely different level of decor, and the details are great here. Just look at a few screenshots that we’ve made while we were writing this review, and everything will immediately become clear. As a result, any of you will now be able to become not only a Minecraft photographer, but also organize cool photo shoots with your friends or make your own unique photo galleries, decorate the interior of any building, and keep the memory of pleasant moments.

The Camera Mod review

To cut a long story short, the Camera Mod adds a new camera item to Minecraft. With this device, you can create real pictures in the game (in fact, these are screenshots, but with a zoom-in and zoom-out opportunities), which you can later hang using new frames. It won’t work with the standard ones in Minecraft; just don’t even try! There are many possibilities, and we’ve briefly listed the main advantages of the Camera Mod especially for you:

· A quick and convenient way to create images in the game;

· The opportunity to display an image by right-clicking on it (that is, just right-click holding a photo in your hands, and the full image will open on your screen);

· You can place the photos you’ve taken in frames, which the Camera Mod also adds;

· You can place images in albums. New types of albums will also be added after installing the mod;

· The player will be able to copy any images, which opens even more unique opportunities for users: sharing, selling, copying, creating originals, and so on;

· You can upload custom images, and any of you will be able to add pictures, your own photos. Cool, isn’t it;

· You can change the image frame size up to 8*8 blocks, that is, there’s a flexible system for working with sizes;

· The date and name of the photographer are saved on the photo;

· The camera will require a piece of paper for each photo, although you can change or edit it in the configuration file. If you create photos in creative mode, then no consumables will be required;

· The camera has a few built-in filters that you can use to create colorful images in Minecraft;

· Multiple zoom capability to zoom objects in or out;

· Save photos in their original form and excellent quality. You can approach the created image, turn off the F1 icon in the middle of the screen, and you’ll feel like the world in front of you is the same game, although it’s just an image that you see in front of you.

As you can see, there are really a lot of functions, although at first it may seem that the Camera Mod only takes a kind of screenshots as in the vanilla version and nothing more. To use the camera, you’ll need to craft a camera. The crafting recipe is cheap, and any player can afford such a device, even at the initial stage of the game. Next, select it in the slots and right-click to start shooting. If you need to zoom in, just scroll the wheel forward or backward. The ZOOM is strong here, so you can zoom in or out a long distance, and at the same time the picture quality doesn’t blur, as if you are looking through a sniper scope.

Have you chosen an angle? Great! Now right-click again in shooting mode to take a picture. It’s saved in your inventory. Each photo takes 1 slot, and if the player’s entire inventory is already full, all photos will simply fall out. But you won’t be able to stack them, or the player can’t figure out where which image is. Next, you’ll need to make a new frame. Check its crafting recipe in our review. These frames have a unique feature; they can be stretched up to 8*8 blocks. Just hold the Shift key, click on the object, and use arrows to select where exactly to pull in the new menu.

The new frame system allows you to create cool pictures in Minecraft and decorate any interiors or buildings with them, make canvases with photos, or even try to hide your house by surrounding it with photos of the surrounding area. It’s up for each player to choose how to use all the advantages of the Camera Mod, but the 100% fact is that you need to download it and use all the options! The add-on can boast of more than 10 million downloads, and it’s available for the Forge downloader for Minecraft version 1.20.4 and is actively supported by developers and is upgraded all the time.
