BreedGPT: Breeding Animals in a New Way

In whatever mode you play Minecraft, you always have to start small: to craft a pickaxe, get wood, go down into a mine, and start breeding animals to get more food, wool, and skin, as these are vital resources for the player in the first game hours. However, this process takes a lot of time, especially when it comes to breeding animals, such as sheep and cows: the player has to take hay or provisions, approach the mobs, feed them, and repeat this process indefinitely. But if you do not have extra minutes for that, you can install a mod called BreedGPT, which facilitates it.

The BreedGPT add-on will add a new type of golems to Minecraft, which will automatically feed animals if you provide the necessary feed. If the resources run out, they will go to the nearest player to replenish them. Such mechanics will allow you to save time and just diversify the gameplay. It is very convenient for singleplayer mode if the player has no time: they just give the order to their golem, and it performs routine tasks for them. Are you interested? If so, keep reading.

Review of the BreedGPT Mod

After you install the BreedGPT add-on, you will see three new golem types, which will help you in breeding animals. All the tasks are performed automatically — you will just need to provide the golems with the necessary resources. Using such a function, you will be able to create a whole settlement of robots capable of performing all the activities without your guidance. Moreover, they will be able to control the process of growth and breeding of animals and will even kill mobs on a farm if their number exceeds a particular limit. That is, you benefit in every way.

The new golems look like robots and resemble Bender from the famous Futurama series, except for their heads. They are gray with white elements. Each golem has a headband on its head — most likely, the designer of the BreedGPT mod conceived it wearing VR glasses. So you will not be able to see its eyes, even if you come right up to it. Each mob will have a small backpack on its back in the form of a standard vanilla chest with the GPT caption. Indeed, artificial intelligence is already firmly embedded in many areas, and Minecraft is no exception.

The texture of the resource the mob holds in its hands appears on its chest. And it is you who should give them to it. It is enough to approach the robot and click the RMB so that it takes them. Then, it automatically begins to roam the territory in search of animals to breed. We recommend spawning them in an area limited at least by a fence. In this case, they will not go beyond the enclosure, and you will be able to control most of them. If a golem runs out of resources, it will try to approach the nearest player to replenish them. Any player will be able to give them to it if you are playing with friends.

To create such a mob, perform the following simple procedure: place a copper block and put a Jack'o'Lantern on it. Once you do that, the entire installation will turn into the mob, and you will be able to interact with it. The golems come in three random types. They differ in life expectancy (7 or 50 days), health points (20 or 100), and dimensions. To interact with a mob, you will need to click the RMB on it while holding the necessary item in your hands.

By default, the golems are neutral towards you and will not cause you any damage, but if you try to attack them, they will fight back. You can use the features of the BreedGPT mod not only in singleplayer mode but also on a server, and it is a very convenient option that allows you to save time and simply diversify the gameplay. Just imagine how cool the survival process will be when you have such mobs constantly moving around your settlement and performing all the tasks by themselves. They will feed your animals, and if you create automated farms, collecting resources will be possible without your participation as well.

It is one of the few mods dedicated to GTP, although more and more new products are appearing in this niche, as AI has become firmly established in the everyday life of the current generation and now plays a significant role in it, displacing various professions. In the game world, though, you are not in danger. If you get tired of such mechanics, it will be enough just to disable or delete the BreedGPT mod and engage in manual cattle breeding again. Anyway, for many players, this add-on is a true relief, as they can enclose one sheep or cow in a pen, breed them automatically, and grow wheat in parallel, and all this subsequently results in vast farmlands.
