Petal Apothecary

The Petal Apothecary is the most interesting and important element of the new add-on. Despite its unfamiliar name, it is a common place for mixing petals, which can then be turned into a whole plant for unique properties and bonuses. To use this unit, just pour it with water and then use the available petal options to get a plant. To find out recipes, you will have to use «Lexica Botania», which contains absolutely all the necessary information. Therefore, you can safely study the recipes and choose those elements that may be useful for your adventures or for crafting more serious items such as wands.

To create this item, you will need:

1. Cobblestone – 4 pieces

2. Cobblestone Slab – 2 pieces

3. Mystical Petal – 1 piece

You should fill all slots with the resources, without affecting the first and third lines in the center.

Pestle and Mortar

The Pestle and Mortar is an unusual tool that allows you to crush mystical petals into floral powders. This is necessary to receive valuable resources and the ability to create various kinds of fertilizers. You can learn more about all the recipes in Lexica Botania to further use all the available fertilizers. As for the intended use of those fertilizers, they allow you to plant random flowers and grow them. You only have to scatter fertilizer around and wait for new flowers to appear.

Flower Pouch

It is a small but extremely useful piece of equipment that will allow you to easily store new flowers without taking up much space in your inventory. Let’s consider the resources you need for crafting:

1. Wool (any kind) – 5 pieces

2. Mystical Petal – 1 piece

As for the recipe itself, the resources must be placed as follows: the top line is full (two pieces of wool on the sides, a petal in the center); the second line fills two slots (wools on the sides, the center is empty); the third line fills one slot (wool in the center, slots on the sides are empty). In the pouch, all the slots are filled with flowers. You cannot use it for other purposes.

Mana Pool

This add-on allows players to use special mana pools. In total, there are two of them: Diluted Mana Pool and Mana Pool. Let’s consider the recipe for creating a diluted mana pool, which looks like this:

1. Livingrock Slabs – 5 pieces

They must be placed on the last lines of the recipe: the last line is full, and the second line has an empty central slot.

And if you want to create a regular mana pool, you will need:

1. Livingrock – 5 pieces

You need to place the blocks in the same way as in the case of a diluted pool.

As you might guess, the pool is used for mana storage. To fill the pool with some amount of mana, you will need additional items.

Mana Spreader

First, let’s consider the Mana Spreader. To create it, you will need the following resources:

1. Livingwood – 6 pieces

2. Gold Ingot – 1 piece

3. Mystical Petal – 1 piece

Pulse Mana Spreader

To create this element, you will need the following set of resources:

1. Livingwood – 1 piece

2. Redstone – 1 piece

Mana spreaders are used to transport the magical resource, but it takes a lot of effort to achieve this functionality. Therefore, we invite you to pay attention to the following recommendations:

1. The first step is to place new flowers and add their source of nutrition (water, coal, etc.), depending on the specifics of the flower.

2. Then put a spreader next to them.

3. Bind the flowers to the spreader.

4. Then redirect the flow of mana to the pool for accumulation (you will need the Wand of the Forest, the recipe for which is described in Lexica Botania).

As you can see, it’s not a hard thing to do. Just be careful and boldly use the new features.

Mana Tablet

Another no less important element is the «Mana Tablet». You can create it using the following resources:

1. Livingrock – 8 pieces

2. Mana Pearl or any other mana item – 1 piece

If you doubt where to place the resource, then use the book to find the recipe. Please note that you can use various resources saturated with mana. To get them, you only need to use the necessary items along with the mana pool. Therefore, just pick up one of the resources and throw it into the pool. After that, you will get the desired version of the resource.

This item is needed to get mana in the inventory. Just throw the tablet into the pool to make it charge. In this way, you can take mana for travel or accumulate mana and move it among other pools. It is a convenient and practical method. You only need to properly use these features.

Manastar

To see whether your pool is filling with mana or giving the resource, you will have to create a special flower «Manastar». This functional flower displays what is happening in the pool (the blue color – receives mana, and the red color – gives mana). For this flower to function normally, you need to plant it near the pool.

Do not forget that all of the listed elements can be used in different ways. The main thing is to follow the logic and arrange the use of resources. And a nice bonus will be the ability to create a visually pleasing set of mana steel armor. By the way, you can also make similar weapons and tools.
