How often have you come across various Sky Block builds offering a unique and interesting survival mode in Minecraft? If that happened, it was most likely on our website, as we have posted reviews of Project Ozone 3: A New Way Forward, FTB Sky Odyssey, and many other modpacks with such mechanics. You can download them, but if you have already completed them, be sure to consider using Equivalent Skies — a new version of the sky block mode for Minecraft, where the main goal of the player is to build a unique automated object, which will take at least 50 hours.

Interesting, right? If you a fan of this mode, you will surely appreciate the Equivalent Skies modpack since here you will have a progress bar that you will need to fill to get certain items, craft different things, and build automated mechanisms. From the very beginning, the player will have to create automated systems to get the final reward. That is a difficult and long way, and you will be able to craft the final automated MK 7 Energy Collector only after about 50 hours of playing.

Overview of the Equivalent Skies Modpack

As in any Sky Block mod, you will spawn on a small floating island, from which your difficult but extremely interesting path will begin. We do not recommend enabling the admin mode, though, so that it is as difficult for you to survive as possible. Otherwise, you will not appreciate all the charms peculiar to this modpack. The modpack can boast about a hundred quests; however, they are not the same as in other builds. The fact is that its designer has tried to add as much content as possible to each task, so if we compare them with ordinary quests, we can say that there are as many as 250 of them. The rewards are not that generous, though, and the main emphasis is on the completion of the storyline and progress bar. Each new quest will unblock different crafts, features, biomes, and dimensions. You will thus gradually explore this wonderful and sometimes terrible world filled with numerous mobs, blocks, secrets, and mysteries.

Thus, you will have to fill the orbs with draconic energy, kill a guardian, make the void metal, get a unique book, and much more. In this way, you don't just survive in the sky block mode but also explore the game world by completing tasks. That is doubly interesting and allows you to quickly understand how and what to craft and what items and blocks are needed. If a player just downloaded 300 mods and joined a server, it would be unclear to them what to begin with and how to approach at least one of them.

Mods Included in Equivalent Skies

The build includes numerous mods, both relatively small, for example, adding only some visual detail to your character or a couple of biomes or mobs, and global that add magic, technology, different types of chests, a huge selection of new dimensions, reworked combat mechanics, and so on.

· Better Advancements reworks the achievement system, which now features a large number of advancements, including those taken from other mods.

· Better Questing implements an elaborate quest system for players. However, the in-game tasks will depend not only on this add-on but also on several other mods, as it is extremely important to make quests in Minecraft visually enjoyable.

· CraftTweaker is a well-known, convenient, and popular mod for thorough customization of recipes, script events, and commands in Minecraft.

· Bonsai Trees 3 adds small trees to the game to complement the decorative design both inside and outside structures.

· Compact Machines adds compact systems that can be configured within individual rooms. That is, it provides a block, and if you want to make a mechanism with its help, the system creates a separate room for you.

· Tinkers' Tool Leveling brings additional tool types from Tinker's Construct with a large selection of various parameters, both technical and visual. It is one of the most popular add-ons for global mods.

· Redstone Arsenal adds a new armor type that makes use of the redstone flux. It brings additional features to the game, a visually cool armor set, and new adventure mechanics.

· Thaumcraft is a large-scale mod that adds various types of magic, power, energy, a bunch of new items, and unique features. It fits perfectly with this build and is used in quests.

· Mekanism provides players with a huge selection of automatic systems, mechanisms and high-tech equipment, which allows one to create almost any circuit and universal system.

· Moar Tinkers adds new resources, minerals, and ores to the game crafting items, such as weapons and armor, and other equally important elements of the cubic world.

· Draconic Evolution brings valuable but highly important dragon-related items, such as swords, armor sets, an energy core, energy storage, unique pickaxes and axes, and much more.

· Fast Leaf Decay is a vanilla-style mod that implements a more advanced foliage rotting system to the game.

There are more than 100 different mods in the Equivalent Skies build, and all of them are perfectly compatible, as the designer has tried to choose them as carefully as possible. Below, we tell you what the advantages of this build are and why it is worth downloading.

Features of the Equivalent Skies Modpack

· Unusual sky block mode with a lot of mods.

· Unique quest system with a storyline.

· Focus on completion. That is, you will have to complete tasks not just to earn a reward (it's not that valuable) but to be able to craft new items and explore biomes.

Despite the relatively small number of downloads (about 400,000), the Equivalent Skies modpack is popular among players who prefer such builds.
