Tax’ Village of Magic – Magic Castle in Minecraft

If you know such a map maker as Zeemo, you will be pleasantly surprised since Tax’ Village of Magic is a re-release of the original Castle of Magic in Minecraft. The author of the new map is Taknax, who received permission from the original map owner. The pack adds an interesting medieval village with different buildings and locations, as well as slightly changes the elements of the castle. So, it is a completely redesigned and updated version of the map.

In general, Minecraft has a large number of maps, each of which has a specific purpose. Someone recreates certain types of buildings, while other players come up with their own universe, where there are different types of eras, styles, and architectural solutions. Thus, we can say that the Tax’ Village of Magic map is one of the unique types, where the author tried to focus on the medieval style, but at the same time also use magic.

First Spawn

Once you install the map, you will spawn in a small gazebo with several beacons and a detailed map with locations. Use this map to find out where you are at the moment, as well as what kind of landscape and buildings surround you. If you use mods for mini-maps, it will be easier for you to navigate the game world, since it is quite large.

If you approach one of the columns, you will see the inscription « Flashing Red Beacon ». You can use the switch to turn on or turn off the flashing red beacon in this gazebo.

Starting Structures

As we walk along a small and narrow path, we see several houses and an arch made in approximately the same style as all the other structures on the map. They look stylish, and the combination of such blocks distinguishes these buildings from standard houses. There is also something like a lighthouse, which stands right next to the shore.

One building has no living space since it is a nice stable for a small number of horses. Another house is most likely a dwelling for workers or for the military of that time. There are several beds, stoves, and tables.

Then we move on to some bridges across small rivers. They are made in the same style using semi-blocks. They look beautiful, stylish, and quite consistent with that time.

Environment

There is a smooth transition from one biome to another, and here we see a savannah. In general, the local acacia has always looked great. Besides, it is one of the most interesting wood materials. So, the construction of the next building in the same medieval style will be a good choice.

There are a lot of trees, water, leaves, and mobs around. All this is sometimes mixed with sand blocks and looks quite exciting. The buildings are colored white. They have brick roofs and fit perfectly into the environment. Or the world looks even more gorgeous supplemented with such virtual objects. Whichever you prefer…

Cathedral or Church?

There is a smooth transition to the cathedral, to which leads a path of the same style. The building is large. It has a similar architectural design to all the previous houses. In its structure, it resembles a small cathedral or church since inside there are a large number of benches located in several rows.

There isn’t much light, although it’s enough to see the interior inside. By the window, there is a place for the main person to read prayers or talk with parishioners.

There are also a large number of hanging lamps, which use glowstone dust as light. High ceilings make this building look more charming. Besides, the interior looks different at different times of the day and in various weather conditions.

Another Gazebo

We continue to move forward from the cathedral along the path and come to another gazebo, which is identical to the one from which we started when loading the location. Here we have another virtual map, which will help you explore the environment and the surrounding buildings. In the distance you can finally see that very castle we want to visit so much, don’t we?

By the way, here we see a sign with the inscription «To Beauclair Palace», which makes it clear that we are going to «Beauclair Palace».

As we move further along the path, we finally see the palace we have read about even before loading the map into our Minecraft launcher. There is a small arch with a tower that accommodates the guards.

Beauclair Palace

You can endlessly describe the Beauclair Palace since it has a large number of different rooms, consisting mostly of tables and chairs. Besides, there are many entrances and exits. So if you enter this map for the first time, you will probably get lost. In general, the author has well designed this building and made it almost «unreadable», which means it is impossible to predict what exactly will be in this or that room or behind a particular door.

The player is often offered to climb the stairs, both outside and inside the building, for example, to get to one of the towers. This looks rather interesting. You can also go out into the courtyard, as well as look at the surrounding world from a balcony or a huge terrace. All the elements of the building are designed in the same style using white shades for the walls, red brick, and semi-blocks.

In the very middle of the castle, there is an inscription in the style of the letter « B », which immediately makes it clear that it is exactly the castle of that same Beauclair. The ground is covered with grass, but it doesn’t look like a football field but has different shades. Even such small details are very important in the landscape to emphasize its style.

There castle is surrounded by towers, which you can enter both from different passages and stairs and from the first levels of the castle. The territory is impregnable and is fenced with various railings, mountainous terrain, and gates. In general, the castle looks colorful and rather interesting.

As a result, we can say that it is not just a castle but a separate world where there is a certain Beauclair who lives in his palace. And this very character may well be you. You can even change the letter «B» in the middle of the castle to your version if you want to appropriate the building and do what you want. The idea is quite consistent with the Middle Ages, and the locations are quite exciting. The surrounding world is perfectly combined with all the buildings, which allows you to enjoy various smooth transitions of the terrain and landscape. This map can be used both on the server and in single-player mode.
